I’m thinking about surrendering this morning. I surrender all. I surrender all. All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all.

It’s easy to sing these verses but more challenging to do what I sing.

Our mind and spirit want to surrender all, but this flesh fights. It is contrary, selfish, obstinate, greedy, and stubborn – To name a few.

We need to let go and let God……….. Let God handle all of our problems.

We must give God control of every area of our life – Financial, physical, sexual, emotional, and spiritual.

It sounds simple but it is not as easy as it seems to give up power. We fear what will happen if we give up being in charge, even to God.

I think that’s a trust issue…

Starting today:

Let us commit to stop trying to hold onto things… and people.

We will place every area of our life in God’s hands.

We will exhale.

We will relax.

We will not worry or fret.

The issues and concerns are no longer our problems. We let go, surrender, and hand them over to God.
