LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL

Have you ever laughed so hard tears paraded down your cheeks?
Or worse,
Did you cackle so vigorously you lost slight control of your bladder?

How did you feel after that hearty, belly laugh?

I bet you’re smiling now when you think of the times you let your inhibitions go and just laughed with family or friends. I know I am. As I think about crazy times with family and/or girlfriends – when we acted silly, like when we were little girls, told funny stories and made each other laugh until we cried.

It felt good.

I’m sure you felt less stressed. Not as much anxiousness. Fewer worries after a good, deep down in the soul hoot.

I had one of those days yesterday. I spent the day with my granddaughters – girls’ day out. They stayed the night with me. We ate pancakes, eggs and bacon and then went for manicures and pedicures. We had photos taken, picked up a pizza, rented a movie. We talked, ate, laughed, and watched movies until late into the night. I had such a beautiful time with my grands as both cuddled next to me on the chaise. I love them and thank God for the opportunity to spend time with them.

Tonight I’m meeting some ‘sistah friends,’ which will also be an enjoyable evening. It is said, “Laughter is good for the soul.” We gals really giggle when we are together. We have tons of fun talking, laughing, eating, and catching up on each other’s lives.

I attempt to live each day to the fullest. Enjoying the present because the future is not promised. The past is gone forever.

If you aren’t doing it already; it’s time for you to start enjoying life today.

Laugh like the Llama is laughing…

Chortle until you roll on the floor exhausted…
